Kelly
Kelly is a versatile artist who works across a range of mediums including paint, lino, pastel, ink, and digital. Her still life compositions, often featuring vases, flowers, and everyday objects, reveal her talent for layering texture and colour to create a sense of movement and depth. Kelly’s painting ‘Still Life With Tulips’ was selected as part of Level Centres Public Open Exhibition 2024 and her painting ‘Still life with Daffodils’ has been selected for the Artworks Together International Festival 2026.
Through her art, Kelly captures quiet, contemplative moments, celebrating the beauty of the natural world and domestic life. Her love for her cat, Andre, often finds its way into her artwork, adding a personal and affectionate touch to her creative output. Kelly is an enthusiastic and active member of TNG, regularly taking part in both the choir and art studio sessions. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and loves travelling to visit loved ones in Denmark and Ireland.
As part of her work with This New Ground, Kelly has also developed her own original music. In 2020, she wrote and recorded Namaste, a gentle and reflective piece that offers another insight into her creative voice. You can listen to Namaste to hear how Kelly expresses mood and emotion through sound as well as visual art.
